Photographer Angela Montegari Ponte

began her career as a professional photographer in 1993.  Immersed in the arts from an early age, photography quickly made it's way to the forefront.  With Angela's father a hobby photographer, complete with basement darkroom, to her grandfather having his photos published in Life magazine, it was clear that photography had chosen Angela.

Initially educated and trained in film photography and darkroom techniques, Angela has now embraced the digital medium which provides a perfect platform for self expression.

Angela continues her fine art and wildlife photography, but portraits and weddings in particular hold a special place in her heart.  The honor of being present and part of a significant moment in peoples' lives, the ability to capture the open and honest emotions, and precious and intimate moments between loved ones, fuels the passion which drives Angela to unveil the unique story of each family/couple.

One thing is certain, Angela's Photojournalistic approach coupled with fine art detail, a deep understanding of imagery and the ability to capture not only the image but the feeling behind it, is sure to provide years of enjoyment.
